Utah Real Estate Challenge 2009
While attending the University of Utah I had the opportunity to participate in the Utah Real Estate Challenge. I didn't know much about real estate, but was interested in learning about the steps of the development process, from finding a site to getting investors involved. I was part of a team of 2 professional engineers and a fellow student working on a degree in architecture. The project involved a lot of work, but we finished in the top 6 and won a cash prize as a team. Most importantly I had been exposed to the fascinating process behind real estate development, project design, and market research.
